MEET THE DESIGNER


Hello! My name is Emily Gray. I'm a senior college student working toward my BFA in Graphic Design with a secondary emphasis in Painting. I'm originally from East Tennessee, but my educational pursuits have taken me to the opposite side of the state (which means the sunsets are lovely, but I miss mountains). As a child, I could always be found with a pencil in hand and a couple of notebooks in tow. I loved creating, whether it was drawing, writing, or music. Eventually, that creativity merged with my love of organization and problem-solving and I set my sights on Graphic Design.

Work Experience

My work experience in Graphic Design is primarily in marketing, working both in-person and remotely for over 2 years and creating work for more than 30 local businesses through my internship at South Marketing Group. This semester, I am completing another internship at Adelsberger Marketing. I also have experience in publication design through my role as Graphic Designer for The Torch Literary Arts magazine as well as my current role as lead designer & illustrator for Union University's Cardinal & Cream magazine.
